The use of logistic regression allowed a comparison of proportions as ordinary least square regression was used to create an analysis of mean sequential ranking that quantified each event. The data was created from answers from fifteen social, romantic, and sexual events which were relevant to a recent romantic relationship (p. 100). According to the study, in adolescent experiences, social and romantic experiences were more prevalent than sexual experiences. The relating of events were proportionately similar between males and females. However, ethnic diversity appears to show relevant differences in sexual experiences.
